Log Ride

Hard to believe that I'd want to go on the Log Ride (aka Flume) after my experience on the kiddie rollercoaster, but it was hot and I was guaranteed to get a little water relief...so I went on much to Mommy's dismay (it wasn't as scary with Daddy, Emma, Haley and Aunt Sarah riding along).

Roller...Coaster

I had a blast haning out with my cousins Haley and Emma recently. We went to an amusement park one of the days of our visit and as you can see by the first photo, I was pretty excited to take a ride on the kiddie rollercoaster. However, it is NOT as tame as it might first appear. Mom and Dad "loving laugh" everytime they look at the second photo and see the sheer terror on my face. I didn't cry, but I'll admit...it was SCARY.

My new digs

After sleeping on an air mattress for a couple weeks, Mom and Dad finally got me a real mattress and a new pink sheet. The blinds are on order as are a bed frame and dresser. I am liking my NEW room ever since Haley slept there. She definitely adds a "cool" factor to the room!

Three little monkeys

No matter which way you look at it...there are three little monkeys! I was so excited to have Haley and Chloe up to visit. We had a great weekend and LOTS of fun visiting the trampoline place, the park and the library.

Boy, those goats sure aren't shy. They were pretty excited to see me, but even more excited when Mommy handed Daddy some food to feed them. Next time, I bet Mommy waits until we're on the opposite side of the fence before giving us food to feed the goats!

Carnival

A sun-soaked afternoon at the local carnival. The synapsis: rollercoaster = SCARY (Daddy agreed), Daddy won me a new Care Bear and the Dizzy Dragons was F-U-N!

ECFE Graduation

I received my certificate of graduation on Monday from ECFE. We got to have a "ceremony", then our snacks followed by a little playtime outside. I was pretty excited about my cert-if-icate. Teacher Kim even posed for a picture with me on the playground.

Happy Mother's Day!

It was a beautiful day for our 3 mile walk for the Race for the Cure. After the walk I got to go on a couple rides at the MOA with Daddy and Grandpa and have some french fries for lunch!

Chloe is getting so big she must be "in the know" about how broccoli makes you grow bigger. It's working on me, too!!!

It was a great day at the MOA...I got to meet Easter Bunny and then ride a "replica" on the carousel.

Great Aunt Anne's family visit

Wow! Did I have a FANTASTIC day when Great Aunt Anne, Great Uncle Sheldon and their boys Fritz and Ben came to the cities to visit. We all went to the trampoline park, out for lunch and swimming...YES, all in the same day! And to top it off, Ben does a mean Elmo impersonation! Pure bliss!

Swimming with Daddy at the hotel pool where Great Aunt Anne and family were staying. I was really splishing and splashing Daddy. After swimming for about an hour, I was all wrinkley and ready to eat at "Vanni's"...or DaVanni's as Mom and Dad say.

I'm TWO!

Enjoying my free cupcake from Barnes and Noble in the "coffee shop". Afterwards, I got to go pick out a new book. I got "Fancy Nancy and the delectible cupcake". How fitting!

After a visit to the bookstore, we went to eat at Q'Cumbers. I picked out noodles and a chocolate chip cookie for lunch. Hey, it's my birthday. I lived a little!!!











After my nap, we went to the trampoline park to JUMP. What a fun day. It was ultimately topped off by a trip to the urgent care for another nursemaid elbow that night...what's a birthday without a trip to the "hospital", right?

Dad knocked down a giant icicle from the house and brought it into the house to show Emma and I. We were pretty amazed at the size and how COLD it was!
